Church website development
Church websites,
built for Sunday.
We design and develop custom church websites that help a first-time guest find you, trust you, and walk through your doors. Then we make the site easy for your church to keep up to date.
No cost or commitment. You talk with the people who build it.
Gideon Baptist Church Live websiteMore than a hundred church websites designed.
Hundreds of churches built on our new technology.
Why it matters
Your website is
the first visit.
Before someone walks into your church for the first time, they look you up. On a phone, usually late at night, they try to answer a few quiet questions: What time is the service? Where do I park? What do I do with my kids? Will I fit in here?
If your website can’t answer those questions in a few seconds, most people won’t ask in person. They just won’t come. Good church website development starts with that guest and works backward. It also serves the church family who checks the site every week for events, sermons, and giving.
What’s included
Everything a church
website needs to do.
Every church is different, so we build only what yours will use. These are the pieces most churches ask for.
Plan your visit
Service times, directions, parking, what to wear, and what happens with the kids. Everything a first-time guest wonders before walking in.
Sermon archive
Every message searchable by series, speaker, and book of the Bible. We bring your past sermons over from YouTube, podcasts, or your old site.
Live stream
Your Sunday stream on your own site, with past services one tap away. We set this up only if you actually stream.
Online giving
We connect the giving platform you already use, such as Tithe.ly, Pushpay, Planning Center, Breeze, or PayPal, so members can give in a couple of taps.
Events that expire
An events page that hides past events on its own. Your homepage never advertises last month’s potluck.
Ministries & groups
Pages for children, youth, women, men, and small groups, written so a visitor can find their place.
Forms that reach you
Prayer requests, contact, volunteer sign-ups, and registrations, delivered to email or straight to your team’s Slack.
Beliefs & leadership
What you believe, who leads, and your church’s story. Visitors check this before they ever visit.
Found on Google
Clean page structure, church schema markup, fast load times, and a consistent name, address, and phone number. Built to rank for “church near me” searches in your town.
Custom, not a template
How we’re different
from a church website builder.
| Question | Template website builder | Digital Front Door |
|---|---|---|
| Design | Pick a theme that hundreds of other churches also use | Designed around your church, your photos, and your words |
| Who builds it | You do, with drag-and-drop blocks | We do, then walk you through it |
| Updating | Log in, find the right block, and hope nothing shifts | Type what you want changed into ChatGPT or Claude, or email us |
| Speed | Heavy page builders and stacked plugins | Custom-coded and lightweight, so pages load in a blink on a phone |
| Content | Blank pages for you to fill in | We write and migrate your content from your old site, Facebook, and YouTube |
| Support | A help center and a ticket queue | Two people who know your site by name |
Editing after launch
Update your church
website by asking.
Most church websites go stale because updating them is a chore. Ours connect to ChatGPT or Claude. Type what you want in plain English, check the change, and it goes live. No logins to remember and no page builder to fight with.
Prefer not to touch it? Send us an email and we’ll make the update.
“The editing software is unbelievable. It’s like magic.”
Our process
How church website
development works.
You don’t need a polished brief. An old website, a Facebook page, or a few ideas will do.
- 01
Free church website plan.
Tell us about your church. We review your current site and send back a recommended direction, often with a sample homepage built from your own photos and words.
- 02
Content and migration.
We gather your service times, sermons, staff, beliefs, and photos, and take an inventory of your old site so nothing important is lost.
- 03
Design and review.
You review the full site with us on a private preview link. We adjust it until it sounds and looks like your church.
- 04
Launch and care.
We connect your domain, keep your email running, redirect old links, and stay on call for updates, hosting, and questions.

Who you’ll work with
Two developers who
know church websites.
We’re Elijah and Wes. We’ve designed more than a hundred church websites and studied the websites of more than thirty thousand churches. We know which pages a visitor reads, which ones they skip, and what makes them decide to come on Sunday.
You won’t be handed to an account manager. You’ll talk with us from the first call to launch day, and after.
Start a conversationChurch website
development questions.
How much does church website development cost?
It depends on how many pages and features your church needs. After a short conversation, we send a written scope with the cost of the build and any hosting or support, before you agree to anything. We are two developers with no office or sales team, so you are not paying for agency overhead.
How long does it take to build a church website?
Most church websites are ready in a few weeks. The biggest factor is usually content: photos, staff bios, and service details. We do most of that gathering for you from your current site, Facebook, and YouTube.
Is this a template or a website builder?
Neither. Every church site we build is custom-coded with modern web technology (Next.js, the same framework many large companies use). There is no page builder underneath, so it loads fast, has no plugins to update, and looks like your church instead of a theme.
Can volunteers update the website without technical skills?
Yes. Your site can connect to ChatGPT or Claude, so updating it is as simple as typing “change the Christmas Eve service to 6 PM” and reviewing the change. If you’d rather not touch it, send us an email and we’ll make the update.
Can we keep our domain name and church email?
Yes. We move your existing domain to the new site and keep your email working through the switch. We also redirect your old page addresses, so links in old bulletins and Google results still land in the right place.
Will you move our sermons and content from our old site?
Yes. We inventory your current site before we start, then bring over the sermons, pages, photos, and documents worth keeping. PDF newsletters and old documents can become real web pages that Google can read.
Do you set up online giving?
Yes. We connect the giving service your church already uses, or help you choose one. Giving gets its own clear page and a button in the menu.
Can you add our live stream?
Yes. If you stream to YouTube or Facebook, we can show the live service on your website and keep an archive of past services. If you don’t stream, we won’t put a “Watch live” button on your site.
Do you work with small churches?
Yes. Many of the churches we build for are small congregations. A small church needs a clear, welcoming website just as much as a large one, and often more.
What denominations do you work with?
We’ve built for Baptist, Presbyterian, Church of God, Christian Church, non-denominational, and independent congregations, as well as ministries and church plants. We write in your church’s voice and use your own words.
Who hosts the website, and who owns it?
We host it on the same global infrastructure that powers many of the web’s fastest sites, with security and backups included. Your site’s code lives in its own repository, and your domain stays in your name.
Will our church website work on phones?
Yes. Most church visitors find you on a phone, so we design for the phone first and check every page on small screens before launch.
What is the free website plan?
We look at your church and your current website and recommend the pages, content, and features worth building. Often we can show you a sample homepage using your church’s own photos and words. It’s yours to keep, whether or not we work together.
Your free church website plan
Tell us about
your church.
We’ll look at your church and your current website and get back to you with a plan. No sales presentation to sit through. Just a useful conversation about what your church needs.
You’ll get a recommended direction, the pages and features to focus on, and a way forward. The plan is free; the website build is quoted separately.
